Concerns grow for Kat Moons’s wellbeing


Alfie Moon becomes increasingly worried about estranged wife Kat’s behaviour, next week.

Alfie’s worries begin when Kat seems on the edge, she burns her families supper due to being extremely distracted.

Later, Alfie spots Tommy with Kat’s money belt from the market and begins to suspect something is wrong. When Alfie confronts Kat, she kisses him – leading him to become even more suspicious.

Later that day, Alfie’s concerns grow so he rushes over to George Street to check up on Kat. When there’s no answer at the door, Alfie is shocked to discover Kat has attempted commit suicide.Fans will be relieved to learn that Kat survives the overdose, though she faces a long road to recovery once again.

However things might not be all bad for Kat and Alfie, as ‘Enders bosses have revealed they are in the running to win a huge jackpot prize.

The cheery storyline, set to begin in 12 weeks, will be an antidote to the doom and gloom of the Lucy Beale murder case, and will see the mystery winners celebrate their lucky day in the Queen Vic.

Viewers are now speculating that the Moons will receive the prize, a twist which could end the couple’s cycle of misery.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, April 2nd at 8pm and Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:30pm on BBC One.
