EastEnders star Steve McFadden, who plays EastEnd hard-man Phil Mitchell, has landed another pantomime role this Christmas.

The actor will be taking stage at The Hawth theatre in Crawley for a production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ this Christmas. McFadden will ‘Fleshcreep’, the parent-in-crime of the play’s famous villain.

McFadden also played the same character last year in the same play at St Albans theatre. Phil was wrongfully framed for the attempted murder of his cousin, Ronnie Mitchell.

A spokesperson for the production said: “This year’s show is packed with comedy, audience participation, stunning sets and breathtaking special effects. Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be our funniest and most spectacular pantomime ever.”

Jack and the Beanstalk will be running at The Hawth from December 11 until January 3.
