EastEnders’ BBC Three repeat screening changes timeslot permanently

EastEnders’ repeat screening on BBC Three has been given a new timeslot, meaning it will air thirty minutes earlier than usual.

Prior to 2012, EastEnders’ repeat screening on BBC Three was shown at 10pm, however, due to the Olympics, it was pushed back to 10.30pm and has remained there since.

But now, as BBC Three begins to prepare for it’s closure as a digital channel next year, fans will be able to catch EastEnders 30 minutes earlier.

Last week saw the final screening of ‘EastEnders Omninus’, meaning the BBC Three repeat will now be the only chance for viewers to catch up on the soap on TV, however, viewers will still be able to catch up on the past 30 days of Walford drama on BBC iPlayer.
