Kush and Shabnam’s engagement do causes drama

Celebrations are underway for Kush (Davood Ghadami) and Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar) as they prepare to share their good news with the residents of Albert Square with an engagement party.

Carmel (Bonnie Langford) irritates Shabnam when she interferes with the party arrangements, but the pair finally come to an agreement and Carmel is later delighted when her future daughter in law agrees to let her help.

Stacey (Lacey Turner) gets closer to Kush when Carmel asks her to help plan a dance for party. Seeing Kush struggling to learn the routine, Stacey encourages him to learn the dance for his mum, but the pair soon find themselves struggling once again to resist each other.

Shabnam is soon delighted when Kush, Martin (James Bye) and Fatboy (Ricky Norwood) display their moves during the dance at the party and Kush later presents her with an engagement ring!  It’s official!

 

Meanwhile, Stacey has a hard time watching Shabnam and Kush together as the pair celebrate with family and friends.

Of course, this is Walford and it’s never smooth sailing.  Things soon turn awkward when Dean (Matt Di Angelo) interrupts the celebrations.
