Keeble (Allison Newman) has wanted Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) head on a plate since day one of the murder investigation.
Now his daughter has plonked him right in the middle of it, things have gone from bad (down on his luck and working in the Chippy) to worse for Max who has been remanded in custody for Lucy’s murder.
In scenes to air soon, Carol (Lindsey Coulson) will be seen visiting her brother as he begs her to find the money for a good brief.
Not only will he have to deal with DI Keeble; but he will also have Ritchie Scott to worry about as Phil (Steve McFadden) will want his solicitor to make sure that Max is the one that goes down for the crime instead of his son.
Determined to support Max, Carol will be seen talking to Jane (Laurie Brett) about the events that have transpired-but will she find out anything that will be significant enough to help her brother’s case?
With Jake Wood set to take a lengthy break from EastEnders, things really aren’t looking good for Max.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th August on BBC One.
