EastEnders actress Kellie Bright, who plays Queen Vic landlady Linda Carter, has been announced to be taking part in this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The actress is the third celebrity confirmed to be taking part in this year’s Strictly, joining Jeremy Vine and Ainsley Harriot.
Explaining her decision to join the show, the actress said: “There are two main reasons I want to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing,”
“The first is that as I will be turning 40 next year, I think it is the perfect time for a new, exciting challenge. The second reason is because if I said ‘no’, Linda Carter would never forgive me!”
Bright was announced to be taking part earlier today on Wednesday morning’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
