EastEnders rapist Dean Wicks, played by Matt Di Angelo, is set to leave the show in early 2016 – following his second rape storyline which sees him attempt to rape his girlfriend Roxy Mitchell.
Viewers will know that, in shocking episodes last year, Dean raped his brother’s long-term partner.

The BBC is, once again, working with Rape Crisis for the plot which will commence in the coming weeks.
Rape Crisis promotes the needs and rights of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.
It currently has 46 Rape Crisis groups, providing services in 57 locations in England and Wales.
EastEnders’ executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: “There is justice. And how it’s meted out will be satisfying but shocking too.”
