Louise Mitchell makes her return to Walford, next week on EastEnders.
Phil will go in search of his estranged daughter in an effort to put things right between them, but will collapse and end up in hospital in scenes that are soon to air.
Louise Mitchell then must return to Walford to share the shocking news with those closest to the Walford hard man.
Still upset after finding out that Phil was the one driving when Denny was hurt, Sharon refuses to believe Louise when she tells everyone that Phil is in hospital. Louise finally manages to convince everyone how serious things, and that Phil is deathly ill. Sharon then decides to go and see him for herself.
Kathy and Shirley also decide to go to the hospital but when they arrive, Sharon tells them that Phil has already discharged himself.
Eventually they find him in the Vic causing chaos when Nancy refuses to serve him. Lee tries to calm him down, as Vincent watches from a distance.
After being with Phil for several years, Shirley is naturally upset for Phil, and confides in Buster.
Speaking about joining the soap, Tilly Keeper said: “I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders, especially to be joining the Mitchell clan!
“It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to get stuck into the role and see what lies in store for Louise.”
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, 18 January on BBC One and BBC One HD.
