There’s a new arrival in Walford for the Kazemi family, next week on EastEnders.
Viewers will soon see a big new storyline developing for the Kazemi’s with the arrival of another family member.
We have seen Carmel struggle with the news that her ex-husband Umar is now in a new relationship.
Carmel’s youngest son Shakil arrives in the market with a plan in mind to reunite his divorced parents. Playing match-maker, he tells her than Umar wants to meet Carmel in the Vic later for a drink.

Carmel is heartbroken when her ex doesn’t show up for their arranged meeting.
Obviously upset that things didn’t work out as she had planned, Carmel contemplates removing her wedding ring.
Kush realises what his brother is up to and, when his plan doesn’t work out, Carmel tells Shakil to leave Walford immediately.
But when she sees how much her son needs her, will she allow him to stay?
Shaheen Jafargholi, who plays Shakil, is a former Britain’s Got Talent star who has also appeared in Torchwood and Casualty. Shaheen also sang “Who’s Lovin’ You” at the Michael Jackson memorial service in July 2009.
Commenting on his new role, he said: “I’m so excited to be joining the show. I’ve been a fan since I was a little kid so to now be a part of something so iconic is an honour. I’m also really excited to be working with a legend such as Bonnie Langford. I’m having so much fun playing her son and can’t wait for people to finally meet Shaki.”
EastEnders sources have hinted that viewers will see Shakil settle in and soon find romance on the Square.
