If you thought EastEnders was going to be all doom and gloom over the course of the next few weeks because of Peggy’s exit, think again, as there are some humorous scenes on the way!
Buster continues his protest against CostMart taking over Beale’s restaurant, and realises the campaign desperately needs funding.
Being a fishmonger, Buster sees gold when he hears of Elaine Peacock’s pond full of Carp fish and comes up with a cunning plan to steal the fish, and he enrols his grandson Lee in his plan,
However, when Johnny and Mick realise what the pair are up to, they arrive at the lavish house to try and bail them out of any trouble.
As they leave, Belinda catches the Carters out red-handed. Johnny is fearful that his career with the law will be in tatters if Belinda reports them to the police.
The following day, she arrives telling the Carters that the incident is forgotten and invites them over to her and her husband Neville’s home for dinner.
Suspicious, Mick and Linda reluctantly go to Belinda’s home, but things soon take an unexpected turn…
EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One and BBC One HD.
