Peggy makes her presence know in Albert Square, letting the locals know that she is back, by taking a trip round the Square in the Walford Dairies milk float.
When Peggy arrives back at Phil’s house, she looks at a family photo and remembers the better times.
However, Peggy is interrupted by Dot, who senses something is wrong.
Peggy confides in her old friend – but will she tell her the truth about her cancer?
Dot offers Peggy her sympathy, before Phil walks in and demands to know why Peggy is back in Walford.
Peggy opens up to her son and reveals that her cancer has spread.
Devastated, Phil has a heart-to-heart with his dying mother.
Phil decides to give Peggy a day to remember and, with a little help from Billy, plans a special day.
