The ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale?’ saga could finally be coming to a close, as Bobby Beale’s fate is revealed in tense court-room scenes airing later this month.
EastEnders viewers will know that Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington) admitted to the police he killed his sister Lucy, over two years after her death. Bobby has since been charged with unlawful killing.
Phil Mitchell’s loyal lawyer Ritchie Scott is on the case to free Bobby and she seems hopeful he will be home in time for tea, if he pleads guilty.
The Beales (well, what’s left of the Beales) are hopeful when they hear the news, however Sharon gives Ian and Jane a reality check, telling them that Bobby murdered his sister and he deserves to go to prison and do his time.
Ian waits anxiously to hear the verdict – will his son be freed, or will he be spending his teenage years in a cell?
EastEnders airs these tense scenes on Thursday June the 16th at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
